SaskTel Expands 4G LTE Network to Prince Albert
SaskTel has announced the company has expanded its LTE network to Prince Albert, allowing customers there to access data speeds roughly five times faster than the current 4G network. “SaskTel is working hard to connect Saskatchewan to the world,” said Don McMorris, Minister Responsible for SaskTel. “Saskatchewan residents are technically savvy and they are demanding lightening speed so they can quickly and reliably use their wireless devices to communicate for both business and personal use. 4G LTE give SaskTel customers access to the best mobile Internet experience in the province.” Ron Styles, President and CEO of SaskTel says their LTE network has two times as much coverage as any other LTE network in the province and also 33 per cent faster. SaskTel says 4G LTE will further expand to Estevan, Moose Jaw, North Battleford, Swift Current and Yorkton throughout 2013.
